EVENTS

The Dunsmore Village Hall Association (DVHA) Committee organises a number of events throughout the year ranging from Beetle Drives, Quiz Nights, Theme Evenings, Picnics, Summer Parties and Winter Warmers.  It aims to provide something for everyone and its events are open to all villagers and are a great way of socialising with friends and neighbours.  The annual Social Diary is published at the beginning of each year and circulated around the village. MEMBERSHIP OF THE DVHA

Residents’ membership of the DVHA has been held for several years at just £20 per household.  This helps to fund maintenance of the fabric of the hall and its grounds.  Membership provides use of the hall and its equipment for occasional personal parties and gatherings.  However, there is a charge of £10 per gazebo should you wish to use these.

 HIRE OF THE HALL

ABOUT THE DVHA

Dunsmore Village Hall Association finally became a registered Charity in 1994 after many years of informally running events for the enjoyment of the villagers.   
The object of the Association is “to maintain the village hall and its grounds for use by the inhabitants of Dunsmore for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation and thus improve their conditions of life”.
The hall, which was bequeathed to the village for use as a school by Langford Lovell in 1849, is our central hub and a real asset to those who live here.
There are three Custodian Trustees and up to 10 committee members.  The committee is elected each year at the AGM by fully paid up DVHA households.
