Ice | Snow | Gritting: Gp C – Havard

Individual responsible for inspecting hills: HAVARD
Ice/light snow – It makes most sense to grit the hills the evening (6/8 pm) before (black) ice or snow is forecast. We haven’t had significant amounts of snow in last few years but please bear in mind that an ICY hill is just as dangerous and needs gritting.
Major Snowfall – If a significant overnight snowfall is forecast on a working day, Chris suggest everyone who wants to get to work/school gather at the pond at 6.45/7.00am to clear the hill(s). Chris will send out an email reminder the evening before any such snowfall is forecast.
